Trakia Sumo Club regularly competes in European and World Championships and has won 26 medals, including 6 golds.

The club is also active in organising big events. In 2018, it helped host the European Sumo Championships in Plovdiv, with nearly 500 athletes from 20 countries. This shows the club’s strong experience both in competition and in organizing international tournaments.
